Terms of Service

Loca is a directory and marketplace operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("we", "us"). It lists local businesses, and lets you book appointments, reserve tables, buy tickets and order products from them.

When you book, reserve, buy or order, the contract for that service or product is between you and the business — not between you and us. We provide the platform, take the payment on the business’s behalf, and pass it on. The business is responsible for what it sells, for showing up, and for the quality of what you receive.

Many listings on Loca were created from public sources and are not managed by the business itself. Those listings show no owner, and their details may be out of date. If a listing is yours, you can claim it.

You need an account to book, order, review, or contribute. You must be at least 18, or old enough to enter a contract where you live, whichever is greater.

Keep your sign-in method secure. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you, unless you tell us it was not.

You can close your account at any time from Account → Data & privacy. Doing so removes your personal details; records we are required to keep for accounting are retained with your name removed.

You keep ownership of what you write and upload. By posting it on Loca you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, store and distribute it as part of the service, including in search results and on business listings. That licence ends when you delete the content, except where it has already been shared onward or must be retained by law.

What you post must be yours to post, and must be about a genuine experience. The following are not allowed and will be removed:

•Reviews of a business you have not visited or dealt with, and reviews written in exchange for payment, discounts or any other incentive.

•Reviews of your own business, your employer’s, or a competitor’s.

•Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content targeting someone for who they are.

•Sexual content, graphic violence, and anything illegal under Mongolian law.

•Someone else’s personal information — phone numbers, addresses, identity documents — including your own private conversations with staff.

•Photos that are not of the place they are posted on, or that you do not have the right to publish.

•Spam, advertising, and links posted for their own sake.

We may remove content, hide it from public view, or restrict an account that repeatedly breaks these rules. We do not remove a review simply because the business disagrees with it.

Every review, photo, listing and message carries a Report control. Reports go to our moderation team, who read all of them. We will not tell you the outcome of a report about someone else’s content, but we do act on what we find.

You can also block another person. Blocking hides their contributions from you and yours from them, immediately, without asking us to decide anything. It does not remove their content for anyone else, and it does not change a business’s rating — a public rating is a fact about the business, not a function of who is looking. Blocks are listed and can be undone at Account → Blocked accounts.

Prices, availability, deposits and cancellation terms are set by the business and shown before you confirm. Read them — a deposit may be non-refundable, and a no-show fee may apply.

Payment is taken through Mongolian payment providers (QPay, SocialPay). We never see or store your card or bank credentials; you authorise the payment in your own bank’s app.

Cancellations and refunds follow the terms shown at the time of booking. Where a refund is due, it is returned through the same method you paid with. If a business cancels on you, you are refunded in full.

If something goes wrong with an order, contact the business first — they are the party you dealt with. If you cannot resolve it, contact us and we will help.

If you claim or create a listing, you confirm you are authorised to act for that business.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish — prices, hours, availability, menu items, and the terms you set. You must honour bookings and orders accepted through Loca.

Payouts are released to your wallet after verification. We may hold a payout where we have reason to believe a transaction is fraudulent or disputed.

Ranking in search and discovery is not for sale. No payment to us changes where a business appears in results.

Loca is provided as it is. We work to keep listings accurate, but much of the directory comes from public sources and from the public, and we cannot guarantee that a business is open, that its hours are current, or that its details are correct.

We are not liable for the acts of the businesses listed, for what happens during a visit, or for losses beyond what the law makes us responsible for. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may change these terms. Where a change materially affects you, we will give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Loca after that means you accept the change.

You may stop using Loca at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used fraudulently, or where we are required to by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Mongolia, and disputes are subject to the courts of Ulaanbaatar.
